Snap for 10453563 from 79be032e51b2439cb8a6309c31bbd0bd9568397a to mainline-uwb-release Change-Id: I88470844a196b6571947072094f3d918a28576cb
Implements the Xorshift random number generator.
The Xorshift[^1] algorithm is not suitable for cryptographic purposes but is very fast. If you do not know for sure that it fits your requirements, use a more secure one such as StdRng
or OsRng
.

rand_xorshift
is no_std
compatible. It does not require any functionality outside of the core
lib, thus there are no features to configure.
The serde1
feature includes implementations of Serialize
and Deserialize
for the included RNGs.
